Santa Claus is coming to the Taking Care Center and he knows whether you’ve been good or bad. Check your lockers on Friday December 7th, 14th and 21st go see if you are the Secret Santa winner. Two winners will be chosen each Friday.

New Session for Adult Swim Lessons
December 26 through January '08
An 8-week program that can benefit beginners to advanced swimmers. Half hour classes teach both proper technique and endurance to the participants. Pick up a flyer at the front desk for more information. The cost of program is $64* for members and $97* for non-members. *Price does not include tax.

Pop the Cork
January 1

Complete 2008 minutes of exercise in the year 2008 and receive an official “Pop the Cork” pen and sign the annual banner. Exercise includes warm-up, cardio, cool down, and stretching. Sign up on the exercise floor.

Coastal Challenge

Any and all TCC members are invited to participate in this journey by swimming, water jogging, or other. The challenge begins in Saybrook Point, CT and ends 130.4 miles later in Hyannis, MA. Record your mileage to earn 4 incentive items along the way!

Ease your mind, body and spirit by stretching away the holiday tension. Yoga increases strength, power, muscular endurance and flexibility while relieving stress. Join Martin Tuesdays 12-1 pm, Wednesdays from 12:15-1:15 pm or Fridays 12:15-1:15pm in the Health Education Room.

Super Bowl Pool

Work out to earn a spot on the TCC’s Super Bowl Pool. Work out 3 times to earn one spot or 5 times to earn 2 spots. Prizes are awarded each quarter based on the score of the game. Please sign up on the exercise floor.

This program is designed for the dedicated swimmer to help refine stroke technique and increase endurance while training alongside other swimmers.

Heart Challenge

March Madness
March 3-7

Exercise three times the week of March 3rd and we will place you on one of the 64 teams in the NCAA tournament. When your team loses, you’re out. Members on the winning team will receive a prize. Let the games begin! Stop by the fitness desk located on the exercise floor for more information.
